Regine Palladin

Regine Palladin arrived in Washington, D.C from her native France in 1979, where she was running a famous restaurant in Gascony (2 Michelin stars). She came to assist her husband, renowned chef Jean-Louis Palladin in opening the world famous Jean-Louis at the Watergate. The restaurant ran with acclaimed success until 1996.

In 1993, Jean-Louis and Roberto Donna from Galileo opened Pesce restaurant, a small seafood bistro, which became an instant success, and is still considered the pioneer in seafood excellence. Regine Palladin has been running the restaurant with a fevered passion since 1995, when Jean-Louis left the restaurant to her. Pesce continues to be a favorite among food critics and diners for the last sixteen years and Regine Palladin is a well respected figure in the Washington restaurant society.

Together with her daughter Verveine Palladin, they will continue to guide Pesce restaurant into the culinary community and provide diners with a spectacular dining experience.
